New County Commissioner Precinct Lines Set

Some of you who got to vote in last year’s races for Precinct 2 or 4 may get to vote in next year’s races for Precinct 1 or 3.

Do you think the commissioners made the right decision in adopting a map that splits each of the cities of Allen, McKinney and Plano between multiple precincts? Plano is the only city that is too large to be within one precinct. Are our larger cities better served by (A) having a commissioner likely elected from the city or (B) being represented by two or more commissioners (who may live elsewhere) that they can call on?
